It's been awhile

I have not posted a blog in a little while. I am not sure why? But I thought that a Sunday afternoon would be a good time....

I am so not happy with myself. I have received 3 Christmas cards, and I have only sent 2 our, and not to the people that I got cards from..........I was going to work on them this weekend, but this weekend got so busy. Jeffrey started basketball yesterday, and we got our tree yesterday, and Jeff's brother Ricky and his girlfriend and Xavier came over yesterday, and they spent the night, and are going to stay again tonight!! I guess that I could work on some cards today???? I have so many to make, and I have to buy more stamps too!!! So I need to get on this, tomorrow is the 15th, so that means that Christmas is in 11 days from today, that is not a lot of time, I would have to work on my cards today and tomorrow and Tuesday, and hope to send them out Wednesday to everyone that I need to send them to.

We have to put our tree up still, we never even put up the advent calender, and there really is no point in doing it now, we have no Christmas decorations out this year, we are so bad this year!! We have not been too busy or anything, I guess just lazy this year!!!!!!!??????? But we definitely will have our tree up this week, and we usually take it down the next day, so it would be up for just about a week or so.

And speaking of the tree, underneath would be presents right?? Well Jeffrey took it upon himself to open ALL of his presents this year, he knows what they all are, and there are 2 that have not been totally opened yet, a pair of pjs, and a Cars sleeping bag and pillow set thing that I got on Black Friday from Wal Mart for $10....then yesterday he opened one of Isabelle's presents. I wrapped all of hers, and I am not wrapping the 2 that he has left. So he opened the Moon Sand, the Hot Wheels track, the 2 packs of cars, and the extra Moon Sand, the 2 DVDs, TMNT and Transformers, and Spiderman slippers..........so thankfully we do not have the Santa gifts yet, so he will have SOME to actually open, but I am not going to get him anymore from Jeff and I, and my mom is supposed to send them something, so he will have that too. The Santa gifts will be picked up this week, and they are going to be going to my friend Danielle's house for safe keeping until Christmas Eve or something when I can pick them up, and we are probably going to have to hide them in the trunk of the car???

Well I will be going, but I will try to write more tomorrow??

So here is a picture of the snow that we have, and it will not go away!! Yesterday it was not more then 10 degrees out, today it is 34, but it is so windy out. I am not sure if there is a wind chill or not? There is not much snow, but enough for me to complain about.

I can't believe that there are only 17 more days until Christmas. We are pretty much done with presents for the kids. We are not really getting any of the adults in the families anything-sorry!! We have some nieces and nephews that I want to buy for. We have a new baby, Xavier, which I posted a pic of yesterday, he is so adorable. I wish that I had some of Jeffrey's clothes for him, but those have been long gone! I love buying baby clothes just as much as clothes for myself!! Soon I will be buying for Kristen, she is having a boy too.....She was thinking of Liam as a name. There was another one too, but I can't think. I kind of like Brennan, or Brenner.....Liam Lumbra, no, I don't really like that. I also know a few Liam's, so I think that she should pick something else. My mom was thinking of Spencer. We have a cousin with that name, but he is older then me, so that would be a nice name. Spencer Lumbra???? I think that I will look online for some cool names.....

I wish that Allison would come home for Christmas. She has not been here in like 3 years or something like that for Christmas. And mom too...it's been several years. We saw them when we went to Mississippi almost 2 years ago, so Kristen has not seen them, or anyone else in the family for that matter. I wish that my mom and sister would be able to come for Christmas. That would make my year. I know when we went there, it was a lot of fun. It was so different. We went there in February, so it was below zero here, and in the 70's there, that was perfect. We were there for a week. Maybe next time we go, we can go a lot longer??

I have been home all day listening to music, and emailing back and forth with Bo, Ricky and Brittany....soon I hope that they are going to live up here, so we can see them everyday or so......I know Jeffrey and Isabelle would love to have them close by, Warren is so far........Once Nick and April and the boys come back to Vermont, then all the Davis kids will be in Vermont. Then we will all be close again. Nick will be 30 soon, really soon, like in a month.....hopefully we can have a big party for him!!

IT SNOWED

So I jinxed us, because now we have some snow!! GREAT!! The kids went to school with their snow pants and boots, and mittens and hats....they are excited, but it is only about an inch or so, so nothing to major, and my GOOD friend Danielle told me tomorrow is supposed to be 45 degrees, compared to 4 degrees that it is now!!

We had a good weekend. My brother-in-law Ricky and brother-in-law Bo, and nephew Xavier(picture included), and sort of sister-in-law, Brittany came over Saturday, had dinner (take out), and Bo and Ricky stayed the night, Britt and Xavier on the other hand went home to Warren, Vermont, which is like an hour and a half away or something like that?? I took some pictures of everyone, but I really wanted to get a picture of Jeff, Ricky and Bo, and all the kids....Soon when Nick, the oldest brother comes home from the Army, he is stationed in Washington State right now, but soon when he is home I will have a picture taken of Nick and his 2 boys, Jeff and our two, Becky and her son, and Ricky and his son, and Bo, there is another sibling, Samantha, she is 6, the rang of age is 29 to 6 for the siblings, and range for cousins in 8 to almost 2 months.....There are 6 siblings and 6 cousins. That is on the Davis side. On the Morse side, there are 3 sisters, Me, Kristen and Allison, and soon to be 6 cousins, Jeffrey-8, Isabelle-5, Olivia-3, Hunter-3, Ashton-21 months, and then baby-due April 2009!! We range in age from 27-21!!

We have a lot of birthdays coming up soon.....My sister Allison will be 22 on December 30, Becky will be 25 on January 2, My mom will be 53 on January 3, 2nd cousin Hollie will be 6 on January 10, Jeffrey will be 9 on January 17, Nick and Olivia will be 30 and 4 on January 20....Then in March we have another big birthday month......Kristen will be 26 on March 6th, Ricky and Bo will be 19 and 18 in March too, I always forget which days, Ashton will be 2 on March 9, we have a cousin Jason who will be 29 on March 9, I will be 28 on March 10.....And I think that there is some more, but I can't think of them right now....

I still have to figure out how to put pics on here......okay, I got one!!! YAY!! Now isn't he so cute???? He is the cutest baby ever! He looks like my kids when they were babies, but he has blond hair, and they hard really dark brown hair, but they look so much a like....I will have to scan in some pics of them when they were babies, and do a comparison!!!

Well I will check in later, and now that I know how to add pics, I can add more soon!!

Cards

Some people know that I make all my own cards. Well back a few years ago when I first started I was working at a pre school, and I would make a card, a Holiday card for all the kids there, some celebrated Christmas, some didn't, so I made Happy Holiday cards for everyone, and all the staff as well. I would make about 150 cards. There were also a lot of siblings, and they would all get their OWN cards. Then I would make them for my family and friends, and my kids teachers as well.....So for two years I would make about 250 cards or more, and they were all different....that took a lot out of me. Now that I am not working there, I do not have to make as many cards, and I am making some the same now. I have to make almost 100 though, but that is okay!! I would like to attach a picture of some cards........I can add some pictures of some cards that I made last year until I can take some that I made this year!!!! I do not have any of them done really, by this time every year I would be all done, this year I have been so lazy!! I have about 15 made, so I need to get on it pretty quickly. I think tomorrow since I am taking this week of from the Family Center, that I can get a lot done, with a quiet house and all.......... We will see. This week for group (I belong to this Women's Group that meets weekly each Wednesday from 6-8 pm) we are having a Pampered Chef party, so I will not be able to do any cards there!!! Well I hope that you like some of the cards that I will attach.....and more recent ones will be on here soon!!

It's already December 6th and there is no snow here in Winooski. We have had some dustings here and there, but nothing that really stuck, and I am not complaining, but maybe we can get some snow for Christmas?? That would be fine with me. Although my kids would probably like snow, but I personally am glad that we don't have any. I have not even washed the snow pants yet?? I should probably do that huh? There boots are out and hats and mittens.......that is good right now.

I will be posting pictures of some cards that I am making for Christmas. I made one today with my Mr. Twigster stamp set. I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator, so I will be putting a lot of pictures of cards on here, for Christmas and just because!! I really enjoy SU, and hope that I can inspire some people with my creations!! I will try to post on here as much as I can.

New Blog

Well I set up this blog in a matter of seconds, it was so easy. I am going to share all sorts of things in this blog, like family information, card creations, and what ever else I want..........pictures are another thing that I will have on here as well......I am new to blogging, so this will be a work in progress!!
